The Challenge

TRL is a textile recycling company with convenient collection locations nationwide. With over 20 years experience their nationwide network of easily accessible, distinctive orange vessels aim to prevent textiles from entering landfill sites as waste and instead promote a culture of recycling.

They wanted to differentiate their offering in a competitive landscape and to highlight their new partnership with Green-Schools; Ireland’s leading environmental management and education programme for schools.

We developed a brand strategy and as part of this determined they should name their recycling vessel to differentiate from competing clothes banks. The name ‘Clothes Pod’ was created to offer an approachable and friendly name and designed in an accessible and appealing identity to support the brand mission of recycling.

We worked closely with the Clothes Pod team to develop a custom built website that included a set of tailor made infographics and photography bank to support Clothes Pod’s brand, achievements, recycling process. As well as spotlighting their partnership with the Green-Schools programme we also developed a location finder tool for all the 1,200+ Clothes Pod locations across Ireland.

The locator tool we built allows users to search for each Clothes Pod according to their location, reinforcing the convenience and accessibility of Clothes Pods nationwide.
