Horse Source is not only an e-passporting system, but a comprehensive resource for detailed historical data and insights on all Irish horses. We were challenged with branding this new initiative without isolating those who have been using the old system.
Horse Source sets the standard in Irish sport horse passporting and comprehensive data listings. Now it has a name, brand identity and assets to live up to this.

The Horse Source brand is information led, building a connection and network between the two words - Horse & Source. It has immediate cues to DNA and the genetic profiling of horses. The brand reflects the progressive and expert-led database and the connectivity of having all of this information at a glance for everyone in the Irish horse sporting industry.
A digital first brand, we designed the brand identity with a focus on screen, translating it to other applications. Alternate colour ways and secondary palette expand the brand, remaining distinct within their space.
Launching both a new brand and a new digital e-passporting system requires a significant communications plan.
We supported Horse Source with strategy for communicating the new offer, creating bespoke video and graphic content, and implementing this across their communications channels: from email marketing to press releases, social media to text campaigns.
In developing this brand and their launch communications, we knew it was going to be important to align their look and feel with the new identity. Directing them on the appropriate imagery allowed them to show up consistently.
Launching a new brand requires a lot of change. We delivered comprehensive brand guidelines to the Horse Source team to ensure their brand shows up consistently across all of their online and offline collateral, building trust in their target audience in this new system.
